Model: Archer A2300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Latest

Just curious if the Archer c2600 v1 with latest firmware is easily compatible with the r300 extender? I'm wanting to extend the range of my network and want to make sure this will be seamless. Thanks in advance!

@Hbaade

Here is currently what we have for products that do and will have OneMesh firmware: https://www.tp-link.com/us/onemesh/compatibility/?utm_source=spotlight&utm_medium=local&utm_campaign=all

Even though the C2300 is not listed you can still use the RE300 and set up the extender to your router. During the setup you can make the SSID on the extender the same as the C2300 to have one network you mainly connect to. Since there are no legitimate romaing procotols being used you may experience instances where you are near the extender, but still connected to the router. That is dependent on the device as the networking devices do not control that.
