C5400X Access Control Issue - Internet Block Request
So I posted this before but it seems it was deleted?
First off, there have been no updates for this router since September of 2018? You can argue that why fix it if isn't broke, but other manufactures seem to always keep apace with firmware updates and features.
Anyways, in summary. One feature request I would like to see would be a way to block all internet traffic to the router or to specific devices while maintinaing the local network connections between devices. My previous routers (Asus) have allowed this and it is a shame not to have it available on this router. Only way to do this now is actually physically remove the ethernet cord between router and cable modem and this affects all devices.
Also, a issue I have noticed... I tried using Access Control to perform this "internet block/allow" but not successfully. I have over 36 devices connected and when I try to use the toggle box to select all devices at once to delete them from a blacklist or whitelist, the router will actually hang and has to be rebooted manually. As you can no longer interact with the router in the webpage portal.
I hope that a fix is being made available to this router for this issue and that any new firmware will possibly include some new features.
