How to configure the gateway for an Archer C2300 in AP mode?
How to configure the gateway for an Archer C2300 in AP mode?
Under the network settings, if I use a fixed IP, I can set the IP address and the MASK but not the Gateway. This means I can only connect to the AP management gui from within the same network.
I've upgraded to the latest firmware available but the option stills not there.
Is there any plan to include the gateway in the fixed IP settings section?

Hello,
I have the same issue. Need to configure default gateway / route on LAN interface. At least to have NTP in sync, check for FW updates etc.
I am running C2300 in WDS mode with xDSL C2100, as TP-LINK does not support OneMesh created between two routers (and this is quite strange).
Best regards,

In AP Mode, it seems that the Archer c2300 successfully gets an IP address from the local DHCP server but does not get a gateway.
This means that the time synch functions do not work nor do the upgrades.
In addition, there does not seem to be any way to change the hostname which is Archer_c2300. Hostnames are not allowed to have underscores.
https://www.quora.com/Domain-Name-Systems-1/Why-are-underscores-not-allowed-in-DNS-host-names
This causes error messages when the dhcpd daemon tries to register the hostname in the DNS.
I have the v1 hardware. Firmware 2.0.3 build 20180611
Are any of these deficiencies fixed in later firmware versions.
