With powerlines it comes down to using different outlets when trying to see if you can get better speed. Some house holds are that Wi-Fi is a better solution rather then powerline. This can be because of the wiring or interference in the electrical lines. 

If there are other outlets in the bedroom try those, make sure neither of the powerline adapters are plugged into a surge protector or power strip.
