I am trying to use the RE650 as an access point on my patio but it does not seem to be working properly. My patio is within range of my router but I have an Ethernet cable that I was using for my smart tv so I have the RE650 wired and in access point mode.  When I try to connect my Amazon Fire Stick 4K to the Tp-Link RE650 it reports that is connected with problems and I have no internet access.  I am going to reconfigure the RE650 with a different SSID and see if helps but I would rather not have to do that. 
 

The main reason that I am trying to use the RE650 in access point mode is because there are times that the wireless signal on the patio sometimes mysteriously drops to almost no existence even though router is only 30 feet away.
