TL-WN725 N150 Mini USB Adapter not picking mobile hotspot signal.
Manufacturer: TP-Link Technologies Co., Ltd.
Description: TP-Link Wireless USB Adapter
Driver version: 1030.29.1102.2017
I have a unique problem.
The adapter does not pick up signal from Mobile Hotspot ( Lenovo K8 Note).
The same adapter picks up the signal from my Digisol DG-BG 4100 NU Router (Surprising).
My Mobile hotspot Wifi Band is 2.4 Ghz, WPA2-PSK (security). I have even tried different hotspot names.
Have tried different USB ports on two differrent computers, none of them work.
Have tried installing Driver from the
- CD

I use Bitdefender Total Security and Kaspersky Total Security on 2 different computers that I mentioned before. Disabled both of them and tried. Restarted couple of times doing all the steps as mentioned above. Disabled and Enabled Adapter in Adapter Settings in control panel. Checked the WLAN Autoconfig in Services , it is set to Auto and Running. Windows 10 Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.836) .Also disabled the option of "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" under Power Management Tab. The green light on the adapter Blinks Normally.
But, Nothing Works.
Cannot get Mobile Hotspot Signal from the adapter (Wi-Fi 2). The same mobile hotspot "Data Hungry Person " gets detected on my laptop's (2nd Computer) inbuilt WIFI Adapter. When I disable my inbuilt WIFI , tp-link still does not detect my hotspot signal.
In Dire need for an effective Solution.
