I just purchased an RE450 and my 5G light is not on. I have been through the setup with the app and it still doesn't show as working even though the network is available on my iPhone.  What am I missing?

@Patrick1548

When setting up the extender, have it in the same room of the router so both signals should have no trouble reaching the extender.

Factory reset the device by holding the reset for 15 seconds while it has been plugged in.

On a smartphone forget your Wi-Fi network to the 2.4G and 5G, then connect your phone back to both networks and enter the same password you gave the extender. If the phone connects to both bands fine, then use that same password when setting up the extender. If both lights turn on, you can unplug it and move it to where you want it. If the 5G does not turn on where you want the extender, then you need to move it closer to the router.

@Tony

Yeah I went through the WPS setup before I moved the extender but I am still not getting the blue 5G led light to come on on the extender unit.
