Connecting TV to internet
For connecting a TV to internet, is it better to connect directly to the router or through the range extender EXT? Both seem to work, but does using the EXT connection improve performance?

It depends on the signal strength.
So if where the TV is at has a very weak signal, placing the extender at the halfway point from the TV to the router would help. If the TV has a decent signal then using an extender will just get the extender in the way of getting to the router. What you could also do is a speed test with your cell phone and compare going to the router and to the extender from where the TV is. If there is no difference then I would stick to the router.
