What is wrong with this router, have to play with it constantly as my wifi speeds are all over the map? I've never been so dissapointed for the money I spent, I have tried the fixes without using the phone app and it works for maybe a day the the wifi speeds return to slow sluggish nightmares, I'm on the 750mbps fibre and can get wireless over 600mbps when a fresh install happens but then within a day it is down to 350mbps if not worse. Driving me crazy as the 2.4 networks comes to an absolute crawl. Is it to many devices or what? I have about 38 devices, just very frustrating when I have seen the router work so well then completely fall apart. Is it the QOS that a guy cant disable? I leave that at standard and dont touch anything once router is set up with laptop. Thanks

@Reddog1974

If you are getting a slowdown on all bands try swapping the Ethernet cable from the router to the modem.

If the 2.4G is only slowing down, make sure the router is on the latest build of 200716.

Have you tried cutting the connected devices to a minimal or tracking to see if a device may be pulling the bandwidth (torrent, cloud sync, etc.)?

@Tony it's all the band's, I just tried a different ethernet cord. I just put router in access point mode and everything runs great. Not sure why it doesn't run like this when using it in normal router mode.

If you run the router in AP mode, then I think the modem is also a router. Are you able to change the modem/router to operate as a modem only or bridge mode?
