I'm trying to connect my RE220 to my existing google router (model AC1200). The error I'm getting is "unable to connect to network." What am I doing wrong? The network password is correct.

You are able to add the RE220 using the WPS method, if the Google router has that feature try and set it up that way.

First factory default the extender by holding the reset for 10 seconds while it is already plugged in.

1. Press the WPS button on your router. Via the WPS Button

2. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on the extender for 1 second. The LED should change from blinking to solid on, indicating a successful connection.

3. If the extender connects to a dual-band router, repeat steps 1 and 2 to connect to the other band. Extended Network Names: Router’s network name with _EXT at the end.
