Your issue is likely that the driver is not up to date, users with Intel cards have reported this before.

 

Here is a FAQ that talks about it and shows your wireless card and the version it needs to be, and if not where to get the updated driver: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2303/

 

The other alternative in the meantime is to change your wireless protocols on the router so they exclude AX, you will then see the networks again.

I swapped the old wireless card with a new WiFi 6 AX200 wireless card. Then I installed the latest AX200 driver from Intel. Windows welcomed me to WiFi 6 and our home networks appeared right away on the Dell.

 

So for anyone with an older Inspiron having issues... It might be time to upgrade your WiFi card.

One other solution is to go to advanced/setting/wireless settings/ and in the 2.4 channel change the mode to 802.11b/g/n mixed for older Dell laptops.  I can verify this fix works for the Intel AC 7260 network card.
