Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.2 Build 20210223 rel.78164(5553)

I just finished setting up a new AX6000 to replace my Archer C7 (v2) router.  So far I'm pleased with the device, but when I edit the icons for my clients in the Tether app (version 3.4.28(Build 34) running on an iPhone 8 with iOS 14.4.2) they don't save.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well but the problem persists.

I also have noticed that there are much fewer icons to choose from with the AX6000 compared to the C7 I upgraded from.

I reached out to support about this and got a fast response.  I'm loving TP-Link products/support.

"Dear Customer,

Thank you very much for the feedback.

We are also able to reproduce the issue of editing the client icon on our end and it only occurs on the specific firmware of Archer AX6000, so we have reported it to the R&D engineer of the router.

Regarding the numbers of client icon, because the icons for Archer AX6000 are saved on the router itself, while C7 V2 were saved on the mobile phone, considering the memory of the router, we are unable to add more icons for Archer AX6000, but we will try to opmitize the types of icons.

We look forward to hearing back from you. If you have additional information or feedback to provide, please let us know."
