TP-Link AV2000 Works at the GCFI outlet. But when I plug it into a downstream outlet about 8' away it does not work.  Any ideas?
This is all outside and I have a waterproof box at the outlet I want it to work in.  I can't use it at the GCFI plug where it is working.

Thanks

@avspin

It might be due to the wiring being GCFI outlets which cause powerline devices to either be the cause of a breaker tripping or reduced performance. In this case, the signal may be getting hindered trying to travel.

If you were to take the powerline adapters into your residence away from the current plugs, and those perform normally, then it could be the GCFI outlets.
