How do I add specific websites which i want to block access to on my local network.
I recenlty bought the Deco hardware with 2 units from Wal Mart. I believe they call it the 6000 series. It was rated for 5000 square feet with WiFi6 and runs $149 at Wal mart. I do not have choice of model on this forum
I use the Deco app, I have not tried to log in old school method with direct IP. My question is how do I block a specific list of websites from being access on local network? Also if I want to block offensive words and such like my older routers had easy settings for where do I find them in Deco? Do I have to log in direct via IP to see these settings? They must still exist? These were common featues on all of my old routers and I have yet to find these settings on the new router.
I have all the latest firmware and software updates, even through money down to go pro with the Deco app, but not sure it is giving me the stuff I really want.
Very specifically, I would like easy method that would add a block for known darknet type websites to the local network, I do not want anyone using network to download file shares. How do I go about adding something to the block on my unit? General category does not look like it will work. Is there a master list online of known darknet sites that I can easily add to block on my network?
