Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version:

I just received a new Archer AX55 from Amazon. It is shown as V1.6. However, on the firmware download site I see that versions V1 and V2.6 are listed, with the firmware date for V2.6 listed as published 1/21/22, and apparently new in November, i.e. "Archer AX55(US)_V2.6_211116".

I'm assuming that V2.6 reflects a h/w change of some sort. A chat w/ Support didn't result in any insight into what the change(s) might be. I'd like to be on the latest h/w at least initially. Does anyone know what changed between h/w versions?

Same thing here. Just got an AX55 which reads v1.6 and I also noticed that according to TP-Link's own website, that version shouldn't exist. I assume it's a typo but would be good to know what's the deal. My AX55 also has awful range, specially on the 2.4Ghz band.
