Model: TL-WPA7517 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.6

Hello

I just recieved my TL-WPA7517 KIT

And it works perfectly when I connect to the SSID printed on the label affixed to the top of the TL-WPA7517.

What I want to do now, is change the SSID and password.

I downloaded the app to my Android phone but when running it, I can't find anyplace where I am allow to change the SSID.

When I start the app, I am presented with 2 devices

Device_846C (TL-WPA7517 1.0)

And

Device_9C01

TL-PA7017 4.0

Which device should I choose in order to change the SSID and password ?

I watched the video but the screen that I see when running the app on my phone look different.

I guess I must be rather thick.

Might I ask for some help ?

Thanks

I figured things out. As it turns out, the very first time I connected to Device_846C (TL-WPA7517 1.0) via the tpPLC app on my phone, I am asked to create a password. This is the device password NOT the SSID password. Once this password has been created, I then ended and restarted the tpPLC app. Once restarted I then had a number of selections to choose from including "Wi-Fi Settings" which then allowed me to choose either (or both) the 2,4 and 5,0 networks. Once chosen, I could then change the SSID value as well as the Password. I got confused because I didn't expect to be asked to create a Device password. Done !
