Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 Build 20220221 rel.50072(5553)

Hello,

Is it okay to disable or turn off the second 5GHz-2 band on my AX110000?  Basically, I will only enable the 2.4GHz and 5GHz-1 bands.  Are there benefits to doing this e.g. less interference, etc.?  Or is this going to cause issues like slow downs, less signal strength, etc.?

Thank you.

  @Maui73,

It could be used as a guaranteed route for network traffic for devices such as gaming devices where you want the most stable connection, or it could be used as a designated wireless band for Range Extenders.

If you have no need for the band, you can probably go ahead and disable the network, Technically speaking there would be less interference, but I believe that the networks are specially optimized to not interfere with each other.
