Accepted Archer AX11000 & all other oneMesh products must have ethernet backhaul
Hi,
I was amazed to understand that the Archer AX11000 being the state-of-the-art,
ridiculously expensive router is not supporting Ethernet Backhaul and that it's not on the list of future supporting this feature.
The Archer AX11000 has 8 Ethernet ports!
For connecting your home to fast wired Ethernet with WIFI-6
This is the only choice.
Therefore it MUST support a basic feature such as Ethernet Backhaul.
Please add it to the EasyMesh list or implement it regardless asap.
All other oneMesh products should be supported as well instead of creating a new mesh system that won't connect all over again...

Hello??? Tpkink?? Whatever happened to this? Just tried setting my old ax11000 as part of a mesh system to my BE19000 only to but I can't make the ax11000 use a wired back haul!? What gives????

@Systox I am in the same position. I have a new WiFi 7 Router from TP-Link that is both EasyMesh and OneMesh compatible, and would like to set up my Archer AX11000 as a satellite to my new router. I do not care if I need to use OneMesh or EasyMesh. I have gone through the effort of setting up a Cat6a Ethernet connection from one end of my house to the other based on the assurances that this mesh functionality via Ethernet backhaul was nearly complete for the AX11000 many months ago.
If this isn't going to happen / will never happen, we should be provided coupons for discounted options that will work with Ethernet backhaul, but I would much rather prefer for TP-Link to honor its prior commitments rather than go radio silent. If this continues I will return my latest purchase and switch to Netgear going forward.

@YH1 I am extremely displeased, disgusted and dissatisfied with the failure of TP-Link and Archer products to deliver on a product that in all senses was a flagship series for a span of years. Like the others that have previously posted, it seems quite obvious that the business has pivoted to other products taking support away at the knees from this device in its entirety. Although it's not unfounded to see this happen on a retired model, these devices are still being sold new in stores and retailers. I personally, made a similar choice to choose the AX11000 because if its promise to future support EasyMesh. Promises and waiting, the support was shown for over a year, and seemed like a simple update waiting to happen, which has never come, and will never come. TP link; if you wish to drop support on a product because your engineers do not have the time or patience to provide support on it, then make the source code or bootloaders available for 3rd parties to be able to perform the legwork. Given that you offer NO support on this router any longer, you need to remove it immediately from your listing page. Your last firmware/feature update was from 2023. You should be liable for anyone who purchased this NEW as of September of 2023 to trade up IMHO. This doesn't affect me as I've had it since 2022 but this product still being available is just a grift.
Unless this device can be unlocked and made available for others too resolve the limitations, I won't be returning to TP link products in the future. Like many others I won't recommend your brand in any way. As an IT professional for over 25 years I've had my fair share of product fails likke HD DVD & Powerline . This one stings a little more clear because it's not that the technology failed, but that the company failed the consumers.
