Wifi adapter configuration problems
The Model is actually an Archer T3U Plus ver.1.0
I bought this adapter to replace a non functional wifi card.
I have Windows 10 home with all updates installed.
The Archer T3U Plus drivers I have downloaded from the website and installed them.
The adapter is plugged into a USB 3.0 port but refuses to connect to a 5Ghz network. Only operates at 2.4Ghz
The two problems I'm having with the adapter.
1. Getting it to connect to the 5Ghz network
2. Windows error "this device will work better installed in a USB 3.0 port" which it is (my system only has two usb 3.0 ports and it uses one of them. The other has no device connected to it.
Is there a way to manually set the adapter to connect on the 5Ghz band?
Or is there an updated driver for Windows 10 x64?
Thanks
