Hello,
Quick question about the Client VPN setting on the Archer AX55. Does this router support L2TP with Pre-Shared Key, and authenticate using a username and password?
I couldn't find a solid answer.

I believe that the new VPN Client uses both to authenticate.
Check this FAQ for VPN Client Setup as it should have most of the information that you need
