Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.4

hello -

our ax1800 will allow me to authorize a VPN client (using a MAC address of course), but then a couple of days later it seems to "forget" the MAC address and i have to start over.

has anybody else observed this behavior?

since its very difficult for me to return to the unit & re-authorize, i eihter need this fixed or i will need to try another model.

@edwardsmarkf sorry let me try that last line again:

since its very difficult for me to return to the unit site-location & re-authorize, i either need to get this fixed/resolved or i will need to try another model.

@edwardsmarkf archer ax1800 is being returned to vendor for refund - i am trying an Acer to see if that works better.

please disregard question.

UPDATE:  acer ax1800 seems to work fine, since it assumes all devices are using the VPN.

it might be nice if tp-link included this option?   note:  its not an option on acer, it just assumes all devices connect to the VPN.
