Model: Range Extender
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Need to bridge the home wired network to a building 80 ft away.

Will these devices allow me to wirelessly bridge the two buildings together using 2 of these TP-Link WiFi extenders in "bridge" mode and use the wired network ports on each of them as trunks to a switch on each end?

Wired connection doesn't need to be a "trunk" in the traditional network sense. Just need to extend the existing home network. Same subnet everywhere. No vlan management needed.

Hi,

It is feasible to bridge the distance of 80 feet with two network extender, and you need to pay attention to the location of RE placement when arranging, try to place it evenly between two buildings, and to avoid obstacles such as walls, metal and so on, they will greatly reduce the signal strength
