Hello,
I have been trying forever to get the 2.4GHz radio to operate on a 20MHz width. Just does not work.

What I notice is that the router spins up a guest network that seems to operate at 20MHz for a moment and then it disappears(I have all my guest networks disabled, must be a boot sequence thing). My WiFi however continues to broadcast at 40MHz width.

Is there a setting or something i need to tweak to force a 20MHz width? I'm right now running it in 802.11 b/g/n mixed mode. Appreciate all the help and insight.

Thanks

./Sam

  @SamThomas

Hello Sam,

Is it just 20 MHz that is not working or is it the 2.4GHz channel in general?  Do you get any error messages?  Do you see anything in the system logs?
