It appears that this has been a known issue for years, from my research.

Please implement the ability to have a DNS server able to be configured on the local subnet.

A fully functional DNS server is necessary for proper operation.

The fact that the DNS server is on the same subnet, should not "break" the device functionality.

Please follow through with this implemenentation.
