     So it's been a Year and a Half and one of my deco satellites still does not work since I changed one satellite from the main deco, to another Deco while trouble shooting. Now the original is an expensive paper weight starting me in the face which I am convinced will never work again. DO NOT CHANGE THE MAIN DECO!!!

 

     The fact that the option to change the main Deco even exists when it bricks your unit makes it all the worse. Why in the world would you design something with the promise of help when it all it does it ruin the device? You think to yourself there's no way that can be right.. Who would do that? Then you think oh well who cares I'll just set everything back to factory settings like the day I bought it no bif deal. EXCEPT YOU CAN'T! One stupid designed followed by an even bigger one. I mean they say you can reset it but tapping the button and blah blah blah .. but IT DOES NOT PERFORM A FACTORY RESET. All it does is tell it to reboot the satellite and try again but since the original problem is never actually erased from the Deco it will automatically search the network and reconnect by itself instead of letting the USER DO IT MANUALLY, again, another dumb design. 

 

   So once the Deco has been changed from Main to Satellite it is forever ruined because no matter what you do it will continue to try and connect as the main OVER AND OVER for eternity. And since they automated the entire process you the user are cut out of the loop and can not stop it from making the same mistake over and over. And no changing it back does not solve the issue, once it's been changed it will only work with the Changed Main and not the original, and there's nothing you can do about it. 

 

I really feel like I should be reimbursed for this horrendously faulty process as it bricked my unit and the only fault that lies with me is that i followed your instructions. 

 

There's no point in me continually trying to get it working correctly. You only allow 2 options, neither of which work, and that's it, end of the line nothing else you can do. It is beyond disappointing 

 

What it does, Solid Yellow, Green, a device will then try to connect to satellite causing it to immediately disconnect, flashing red... Back to solid yellow and repeat for eternity. 

 

DO NOT CHANGE THE MAIN DECO PEOPLE!!!! I'm trying to save you for making the same mistake

  @IntheD 

 

You said you tried to reset the non-working unit by pressing the reset button at the bottom of the unit. I also had trouble changing my 2nd deco over to my main but I was able to get mine working.

 

If you would like the steps i did to get mine working let me know. 

 

Also what was the 2nd option you tried?

  @IntheD When you write "reset it but tapping the button", do you mean doing that in the app?

Did you try pressing the physical "reset" button on the "old main" satellite during a few seconds?
