Model: Deco XE5300
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.9 build 20240724 rel. 39578

I have a long house and the ISP connection is one one end. I thought the satelite nodes would connect to the closest strongest single but instead the one on the other end of the house is trying to connect to the main one. This results in a very poor signal and speed. How can I set them to daisy chain? I only find an old post saying it wasn't available at that time for xe50 devices (which I believe are the same as the costco xe5300).

It sounds like you could get away with 2, vs 3, spaced out a little further from the current setup. At least with my TP-LInk Range Extender (RE815XE) the Tether app frequently reminds me that "I can place it a little further for optimal performance). Does the DECO app not make the same type of warning if they are set too close to each other?
