I bought 2 HS200 light switches for my staircase in order to pair it with my motion cameras for motion sensitive lights. I put one on the bottom of the staircase and one on the top however pressing them seems to do nothing. In fact turning one on seems to turn off the other.

Did I purchase the wrong product for this situation? The installation seems to have been done properly cause when I was installing them, pressing the button turned the light on for a spilt second.
