  @snapdog

If your Verizon box acts as a router, you should consider running your deco mesh in Access Point mode.

What are you asking about a better speed?  Better than what?

  @yves_b What I was asking what will give you better speeds conecting to Verizon internet in ip passthrough mode and using my Deco as the router,

or using the Verizon internet in router/modem mode, and connecting my Deco as an access point

  @snapdog

If you run the Deco mesh in Access Point mode, you can connect the satellite Decos directly to the Verizon box, via Ethernet cable.  In that configuration, the traffic between the satellite Deco and Internet does not transit via the main Deco.  That could make a tiny difference and improve the speed.

  @snapdog In access point mode do I need to put my verizon internet box back to orriginal settings and do not setup with the ip passthrough and run the verizon as router/modem ie orriginal verizon internet.

  @snapdog

Are you asking us to confirm your previous statement?

You have two choices:

  1. running the Verizon box in ip passthrough mode and running the Deco in router mode
  2. using the Verizon internet in router mode, and running the Deco in access point mode
