Model: Deco BE63
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a BE10000 3 unit mesh system and I am considering expanding to 4 units.

My mother has a BE11000 3 unit system and may also need a 4th unit expansion.

I would like to purchase a 2 unit bundle to save money and split them between the two systems.

Questions:

Can a 10k satellite be added to the 11k system?

Can an 11k satellite be added to the 10k system?

Would either configuration work?

  @MalysAforthot

The answer to all 3 of your questions is Yes, however keep this in mind. If your BE10000 or BE11000 have options that the new model you buy doesn't have you will lose those options on the BE10000/BE11000

See this post for a good example of this

  @MalysAforthot I would swap the BE11000 into primary router for the 3 BE10000 system...

  @MalysAforthot They are pretty much identical except for a theoretical 11 Gbps vs 10 Gbps (good luck getting anything to actually move that fast). The 11000 is only sold at Costco. The 10000 is sold directly or on Amazon. I think you can consider them interchangeable for all intents and purposes.
