Just putting this out here to see if anybody else has had this problem.  XE75Pro 3-pack model, just at 2 years old.  Upgraded to Spectrum due to them buying out my local Cable franchise, which was 300/30.  New modem from Spectrum and they hosed up the work order because they're in process of laying fiber, but not in my 1/2 mile "loop" of a subdivision.  So installer had a cable modem and they installed it; with a speed of 300/30 provisioned - because they weren't completely through with the transition of taking over the older provider.

Installer said in a few weeks they'd ramp up the speed to 1000/30, which I never saw happen.  About 2 weeks or so ago, while rebooting this & that, I noticed a brief (5-10 minute?) time-frame where I obtained 1000 down, but it always reverted back to 300 down after that brief time.  Being an old, retired IT systems administrator of 73 years old, I started trouble-shooting; hooking up various other computers & old Gb routers directly to the modem.  My research pointed to my gateway router being wonky.

Ordered a new single XE75Pro and finally installed it this past weekend into my home network.  Wouldn't you know it, now I've got 1000/40 working just  lovely for the past 2 or 3 days.  So I'm curious if anybody else has run into a situation like this?  I was "just out" of warranty (of course!!) and not really too ticked off, and this isn't meant as a rant against TP-Link (I'm just happy to have it working correctly finally).  Just wondering if this has happened to others, or am I just "uniquely lucky"?  Please excuse the verbosity - I wanted to present the problem/solution in a complete way.

Thanks
