Hello,

I just purchased and plugged in the adapter. Once I plugged it in, I don't see a shortcut of the device on my desktop. It did show up in the Device Manager and it said device working properly.

Shouldn't there be a Tp-link Utility somewhere ? If yes, where can I find it.

My laptop has its own wifi adapter but sometimes it wouldn't show up, so I bought this adapter just in case the pre-installed adapter of my laptop disappeared again.

How do I know for sure the adapter is working properly ?

Any suggestions/comments are much appreciated.

Thank you.

@Silkcat You just use the built-in Windows Network utilities to see if it is connected.  Settings>Network and it will show connected if working.  Did you install the drivers for it?

Hello DVair,

I finally figured out that I don't need the Utility option to run the adapter since I have Windows 11. It has been working great so far. And yes, I did install the driver as well.
