Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.9.1 Build 20250612 Rel. 45690

When I log in to the Deco app, I can only see 3 devices. All three are TP Link Kasa non-matter devices. I have 6 Tapo devices: 3 are Matter devices, and I can't see the other 3, including all the devices in the house, like the TV and laptops. etc. I tried rebooting the network a few times, but nothing seems to be resolving it. I had the same issue a while back and it resolved itself after sometime but this time it's holding on.

This seems to be an ongoing issue with Deco. I also can't log in to the admin interface using a laptop at 192.168.1.1. It asks for the password and when I type the passowrd and press enter (or the button) it does nothing.

Any resolution?

TIA

OK.

Got it resolved after physically rebooting the network by pulling power cords out of all three mesh devices and reconnecting them.

I hope this helps someone!

For the missing devices in the Deco app:

Since some client devices are not shown as 'online' but are functioning properly, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

1) Confirm that there are no other routers using the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as the Deco system.

2) Verify that the client devices are set to obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP) rather than using a static IP configuration.

3) Reboot the entire Deco system.

Additionally, since you mentioned waiting after launching the Deco app:
• After launching the Deco app, wait a few minutes for the client list to populate.
• Ensure the Deco app is updated to the latest version available on Google Play or the App Store.

For the web admin interface login issue:

See if you can access it via this link http://tplinkdeco.net/

But keep this in mind you can only access your logs and update firmeware in the web UI, everything else needs to be done using the deco app.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please reply back to this post.

Thanks

  @HelpFixDecoApp

Thank you for the reply.

There are no other routers at our house besides the 3 Deco mesh devices.

Most clients are obtaining IP addresses automatically. A few have reserved IP addresses for home automation.

I have rebooted the Deco system multiple times, even before I posted the question.

The Deco app is updated to the latest version on the Android app store. App version is 3.10.206

I cleared the cache, cleared the app data, and signed in again, but it's still showing only 3 devices.

Scanned the network with nmap; it shows most devices are connected and responsive, except 192.168.1.9, which is connected via Ethernet. Checked the IP on that device's side, and it reports the correct IP: 1.9. It works fine through DNS, but can't be accessed through IP. Doesn't respond to ping!

I am really confused!
