W11 and TX401 NIC runs slow
Xfinity/Comcast 2.5GB Cable
Netgate 4000 Router
TP-Link 2.5GB POE switches POE for Wi-FI APs and the desktops & laptops
I have a Generic desktop with Windows 11 install TX401 NIC.
The driver was updated from Marvell site to Marvel AAQtion V3.1.1.1.0.zip
Everything worked great for months with average "2395MB down/ 299MB up"
UNTIL I shut off the computer.
Now it stays at less than "900MB down/295MB up".
I have deleted the NIC driver and tried Marvell AQC108 - AQC107
I have gone back to TP-Link CD whiuch is Version 3.1.8.0
All with same results of not getting back to average of 2300MB - 2400MB dowloads
Which driver should I use?
FYI: My wife has a Generic W10 with TX410 NIC and consistently gets "2398MB down/300MB up" and she requalalry turns her computer off
at night and has no problems when restarting.
Both computer have CAT6 cable to TP-Link 2.5GB switches. So I know the infrastructure is not a problem.
My desktop which now runs slow:
Windows 11 Professional (x64) Version 23H2 (build 22631.6199
MSI PRO B550M-VC WIFI (MS-7C95) 3.0
AMD Ryzen 7 5700G
64 GB RAM
The OS and applications are up to date
What am I missing?
