Hello, I just installed an Archer C9 and its working great. However, I have two non-wifi devices (Blu-Ray and HDTV) in an enclosed cabinet in another room, which I would like to hard wire (via RJ45s) to a TP-Link N300 - L-WA855RE. Due to the nature of my house wiring and construction, powerline adapters are not an option, nor is hard wiring.

I would like to know if I can:

1. Disable the wifi portion of the extender and still use the ethernet port? Basically make the L-WA855RE a wifi to ethernet adapter only.
2. Connect a small ethernet switch so that both devices can function off the single port?

I appreciate your input...

we could disable the repeater's own ssid, and make it working like "adapter". also, a small switch should work in this scenario.
