Hello
I've had an Archer C7 router for about a year and it worked perfectly. Suddenly, it started having problems: the system light would go on, and I could no longer connect to it via wifi or ethernet. The only way to reconnect was to turn it off and and back on.
I contacted TP Link and got a replacement. I installed it, and in 3 days the same issue started happening. I have tried updating the firmware and resetting the router to factory settings, but the problem keeps happening.
When I connect my devices directly to the internet jack on the wall, it works perfectly. I also tried connecting an older router that I had (from another brand) and it worked for several days with no issues.
I have no idea what the problem might be, and would appreciate help solving this issue.
Thank you

I seem to have this same issue; didn't occur to me until now that it might be related to my work laptop, but that could explain the intermittent nature of the problem. Please confirm whether I should try the beta (and which version):
Archer C7 v2
Dell XPS 13 (Killer Wireless -n/a/ac 1535 Wireless Network Adapter)

Does anyone know if there is a beta for the JP version of the C7v2? I once tried to install a US firmware and had massive problems, so I'd love to find a firmware that matches.

Same problem, firmware 1.0.0 Build 20170306 rel.39799(5255) (I guess "RU", checking for updates returns "no updates available" on russian). Archer C7 v4.0. Killer E2200 adapter. For me router works for several days until I turn on uTorrent (v 3.4.9). After several seconds up to several minutes router hangs, network LED blinking orange. After turn off - turn off works again. Happened 3 times in 2 weeks since I bought router.
Attempts to update firmware to latest US multilanguage version returns something about wrong type of file. So after fixing US please fix localized too ASAP.

CDN website is still officially on 16.1031 for version 2 but this beta CDN Firmware has been stable since I installed it , also not losing my emails servers randomly as version 16 was needing a reboot. Not sure why the CDN site has not been updated to this much better Firmware.

This beta patch (US) seems to have fixed my Dell Killer wifi issue. Thanks!
