TL-WPA4220 has limited range
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I bought this unit to extend the range of my home network from my den to my living room, dining room, and bedroom. The farthest distance from my den where the router/modem is located is to the bedroom which is about 40 feet away and two sheet rock walls. The wifi signal from my router/modem, which is a good quality NetGear, does not reach the bedroom or even the dining room which is more like 30 feet and only one wall. With the power line extender in the dining room I get a good signal in dining room, but no signal in the bedroom which is only 25 ft away and has no walls to go through, just a doorway. The power line extender is a different network than the NetGear, is that a problem? I can't believe that the extender can't reach 25 feet.
