I have an AT&T Uverse router. One computer is directly connected to the router, and the Archer C1200 is connected to another port. Three computers are connected to the Archer C1200. What do I need to configure on the Archer to share folders between a computer connected to it and the computer that is connected directly to the Uverse router?

It seems that you're under a double-NAT network environment. Every router acts as an NAT device and clients separated by an NAT device will not be able to communicate with each other.
For a solution, it's recommended to select one of the routers as the main one, and the other purely works as an access point to provide wired&wireless access only.

I'm unable to get step 3 to work (changing the IP address). When I log into my Uverse router, I see that it has:
DHCPv4 Start Address 192.168.1.64
DHCPv4 End Address 192.168.1.253

Step 3 says "Change the LAN IPv4 to one on the main router’s subnet", so I tried to set it to 192.168.1.101, but I get the error message "WAN IP address and LAN IP address can not be in the same subnet"

Please pay attention that once you set up the router as an access point, you don't need to plug the WAN port anymore. It seems that the WAN port is still connected to the Uverse router. Please check the step 5.
