Archer C3150 Disconnects from DSL when uploading large videos to youtube
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Model: Archer C3150 version 1
Hardware: Hardware Version:Archer C3150 v1 00000000
Firmware: 0.9.1 0.1 v005f.0 Build 160707 Rel.64418n
Internet service provider: CenturyLink ADSL service via Actiontec PK5000 in bridge mode connected via PPPoE and ADSL.
Once a week I upload a large video file to youtube. I usually do this overnight as it takes 5-6 hours over my slow upload speed and it restricts other internet activity while the upload is occurring. It worked well until I started using the Archer C3150 router in the set up listed above. Now during the upload the router will lose internet connectivity and won't reconnect until I reboot the router. This has happened almost every time I have uploaded these large files, I can recall maybe 1 time where it didn't occur. This actually occurred twice during the file I started uploading last night. It seems strange that the router doesn't try to fix the connection until I reboot it. Prior to getting the Archer C3150 I was using the Actiontec PK5000 as both the modem and router and never experience the connectivity issue. Any thoughts on rectifying this issue?
Thanks.
