I have a wired router (R470) for my WAN connection. I have a CPE 210 plugged into it as AP. Then I have another 210 setup as a bridge and rebroadcasting it.

It works good at times but it dies and comes back, works for a page then doesn't work, then comes back. If I reset it it works for a day or two. The rest of the network runs fine.

I was wondering if I used my real DNS on the 210 being a bridge? The lan is 0.1, the bridge 4.1. Can I put in the wan DNS 208.79.x.x?

Or put in the gateway as my DNS or leave the DNS blank?

Or any ideas what might be causing my outages?

Thanks

Yes, I have the bridge as 4.1. The wired router is 0.1 and the AP is 0.27. Some of the pictures in the user guide shows everything on the same network 0.x

Just used to using different networks when I was using a bunch of linksys routers running ddwrt.

I'm going to update both the CPE's today.

Thanks
