I took a chance and just went ahead with buying the Archer BE9700. It does connect over ethernet to EasyMesh satellites Archer AX21 and Archer BE230.

You would think this would be an easy thing to answer, but I'm completely confused about it. TP-Link has several different routers with "BE9700" in the name, and yet there is no BE9700 in the "Model"...
