@dunxd I tried the utility just to see if I can observe the same issue as you. the utility runs fine on my windows 10 and it finds the device connected to lan. My GFX is from nvidia.

@dunxd It doesn't need to be a linux pc. you can connect the ethernet port to a windows pc. the utility to make a backup of the ..pib file is compiled for windows.

@dunxd wow, that's interesting. It seems that they changed the chipset on the WPA8630P V2 UK version from a qualcomm to a broadcom chipset, or maybe their utiliy is simply detecting the WPA8630P V2...
