Cannot connect to yahoo smtp server

I just bought an NC230 camera connected to a TP Link wireless router. All TP Link. The camera is connected and I can view live video. I get notifications. But I cannot get the email notification to work. It constantly gives "connection to server failed" or "incorrect username or password", even though they are correct.
Here are the settings:
Target: email
Recipient email address: sample@yahoo.com
Sender email address; sample@yahoo.com
Password: *********
SMTP Server/port: smtp.mail.yahoo.com 465 or 587
SLL Encryption: Close TLL STARTTLL
Sending Interval: 1 min
Save and click Test. It gives error.
