My iPhone App does have have a “remote access”option. How to I get this option so I can connect my smart plus HS 100 to Alexa

First make sure you signed up for a TP-Link ID, and verified the email account. If not, you will not have the ability to remote control. (https://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-1439.html)

Once that has been done, tap on the device listed under "Devices", then select device settings (top right, three lines). The first item will say "Remote Control", you would then enable that.
