@Angee1971 When the device powers on, the extender will broadcast two network a 2.4G and a 5G network. Both start with a name of TP-Link. You might only see the 2.4G if your Wi-Fi device is not able to see 5G. In any case, if nothing comes up, do a factory reset on the extender by holding the reset for 15 seconds while it is plugged in, you will notice the lights react. Once the extender boots back up, look for the Wi-Fi networks. If you still do not see any networks check on another wireless device to see if you still get the same.
