KC-120 won’t connect to chromecast
So I set up the camera via the kasa app and it's connected to my wifi network and is viewable on the kasa app
I went to the google home app and added the tp-link kasa extension and added the camera to my Google home
When I tell Google to show me the camera on my TV, I get a tp-link kasa loading screen but then it seems as it gets stuck and nothing ever loads. A few minutes later the chromecast backs out into screen saver mode. The only other app I use with my chromecast is netflix and that never has any issues.
Any troubleshooting tips?

Does the video stream work on your phone using the Kasa app?
Make sure the email that was used in the Kasa app is the same one authorized when setting up your Google Home.
Have you tried re-enabling the extension?
With respect to your network, are the Kasa camera and Chromecast both connected to your wireless router or through a range extender?

I'm gonna try the email thing. My Google home is set up on one email and my cam is set up on another, but why would would that matter? G Home still recognizes the camera so why can't it stream w/o being on the same acct?

With respect to the email when you activate the TP-Link extension and "sign in" the account you provide should be the same Kasa account on the Kasa app. What you have for your Google account will not matter.
Are you using any sort of range extender in your network?

@Tony I am having the same issue with the Kc120 and a google home device. All devices are on the same network with no range extender. When I say "hey google show me the kitchen" I just get a loading screen. The camera works fine through the app

I have the same problem. My KC120 wont cast to chromecast. I have registered on the same email.
It starts the tp link kasa screen and then just a spinning symbol loading

I'm replying to my own answer. Seeing the dates when this was reported, this shows a total lack of support for the product from the representatives.
I would if possible want to make a full return based on the promise of casting this camera to the chromecasts in my house.
Do you guys at TP-Link care at all?
