Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5

Kasa app doesn't turn lights on early enough when set to automatic by time of day. All other apps have a selectable offset by +30 minutes or -30 minutes. Kasa needs this. It's dark here in New York at 4:30pm but for people in Detroit it's still light even though we are in same time zone. I would continue to have the lights come on at sunset but I would choose 30 minutes earlier. You can't do this with Kasa app.

Update your app and firmware of your Kasa products this feature should now be available.

@Carl The new firmware works great on the plugs and app! Will there be firmware updates for the wall switches? There are none today, only for the mini plugs. Thank you.

I assume so but i often do not find out about new firmware unitl the day it is made available.

@Carl Firmware for switches is OUT and the new offset works great.
