For example, if I want the light to start at 100% brightness and slowly dim to 1% over the course of 30 minutes, can that be done in Kasa?

Yes, you can set a schedule to fade in 30 min.

Hello, which version of software do you have? Mine is Version 2.20.0 Build 918 and I do not have this option.
