Out of curiosity is there a way to upgrade from V1 to V3 for the hardware? I wasn't sure if there was some type of software to change the versioning.
Unfortuantely you are not able to upgrade hardware versions. The hardware version is the physical device itself so in order to get a newer version you would need to buy the new hardware.
