I am trying to connect a new RE505X to my existing Verzon DSL modem. I tried using the WPS button on both devices, and that did nothing. I can see the RE505X, but it won't connect to the router. Does this device work with DSL?

I also set this up at another location with Verizon FIOS and was able to get it all working fine.

Just trying to troubleshoot this to see where the issue is.

Thanks

@beyond2001

Rather than using WPS I would use the other two methods. As long as the Verizon router provides a wireless connection to client devices, the extender should be able to connect to it as well.

1. User the Tether app, by downloading it onto your smartphone, and setting it up that way:

2. Log into the extender and use the web UI to configure it where you find the DSL Wi-Fi and enter the wireless password of the DSL router:
