I just installed the smart wi-fi outdoor plug today (kp400).  I can turn my patio lights on and off with the app just fine - so I thought. But, I see that when the lights are “off” on the app, they are still actually on but very dim. 

 

Is is my plug defective?  

 

If not, how do I get my lights to turn off all the way using the plug. The whole point was to not have to physically unplug my lights.

Take the plug to a lamp inhouse, then test is on other light fixtures. 

 

It may be those bulbs do not work well with the plug or vice versa. 

 

I would look up the bulb makers and see what devices were tested so that the bulbs remain completely off.
